So other than "I HATE YOU"......what is the MEANEST thing your kid(s) have ever said to you? I mean something that REALLY hurt your feelings - even though OF COURSE you couldn't let them know that........Mine is....."I wish I had a different Mom". OUCH!!!! Do you think she has even the SLIGHTEST clue how bad that one hurt!!!! She looks harmless enough doesn't she!!!

I know I already posted on your facebook, but now I know why you are asking... Don't feel too bad, I think it is just part of girls growing up. Sierra says she wishes she had someone else for her mom almost daily... I don't know if it is the same with boys, but both of my girls have gone through this phase. Everyone else has such a "nice" mom, who never makes them do chores, etc. etc... She "runs away" probably once a week (goes for a walk) and then comes back a little calmer... Call me if you need a shoulder to cry on, I probably do too!
Hey it seems like I wasn't telling my parents that same thing not too long ago! She's just acting out and she'll get over it, she really doesn't mean you are her world and she loves you!!
At least Cassie is a little bit older. My Lynlee tells me that she doesn't love me and that I am ruining her life. Then one time after she said that she bit my cell phone and cracked the whole screen! She is only 3 1/2 I can't wait till she is a teenager, I am going to be the one running away j/k!
When Savana gets mad at me these days she usually says something like this: "I hate you Mom, You're the meanest Mom in the whole world and I wish I had a different Mom!!!"....Ouch. If only she realized how good she has it. I know that Cassie really doesn't mean that. One day she will understand.
Our kids make us the happiest people on earth, but also hurt us the deepest at times. That's what we moms do.....love them anyway. I hear they do eventually come around...when they have kids of their own. Until then, we just have to "take the good and take the bad." She's one of the luckiest girls in the whole wide world. She knows that and will fully realize that one day.
